We just published a new HTML5 game Happy Bird to our library. Happy Bird, our Flappy Bird clone, is a love letter to simple and elegant design. One major difference in our version is the game becomes more difficult as your progress. This project was started way back when Flappy Bird was originally published to the App Store. As our technical resources have advanced, we thought it would make a great HTML5 game that is compatible with most smart devices. Our original PC only version had a beautiful backdrop with gorgeous lighting effects. But the effects ultimately tied up too many resources bringing the game’s file size from 75MB to 1.5MB.
